Doesn't EVERYONE have a picture like this?? Some may be a little older than others but at some point in our life's a picture like this was taken.

Bear Lake

Dave and I always say we want to go to Bear Lake and then before we know it the summer is over and we didn't make it. So this year I was going to make it happen! We picked a day and went for it, we were also lucky enough some good friends were over there for the weekend so we met up with them and it made a day out of it. Dave and Lance went golfing for the first little bit and then meet up with us later for lunch and some more fun.
Parx just loves Joe and Ezra and it works out perfect that they play so well together. Me and Lindsay even got in on the fun with building the sand castle. We even said we cared more about it then the boys did at the end. They just wanted to throw rocks at it and stomp on it.

Family Pictures

We tried to do family pictures and even tough it was Parx's bed time. Dave's shirt was to small. He came right from work and didnt get "fixed up". I look so tired. And my shirt is a little to big. I think we got a few good ones.
I love these boys more than words can say!!

24th of July

We had a pretty low key 24th this year. Susan had her gall bladder out unexpectedly and was heart broken to miss the fun but the grandkid were so cute and did everything gma had invisioned for them. Then Parx ended up with strep throat. So we did the lawn mower parade the neighbor hood BBQ and called it a night.

There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.

I just finished reading a book that I couldn't have read at a better time. I really have a very blessed life and not many trials or major ones at that. But I had just been feeling a little blue about material things. A house, another vehicle, new clothes, things that really aren't important but still nice to have and this book just put me in my place. 
I need to have things put in perspective once in awhile because I mean I am human and cant help to want things! But it cant and wont every go with me so even though I will always "want" things and need things I need to remember whats really important and to always be thankful for the real blessings in my life.

4th of July!

The 4th was so much fun with Parx this year. He loved all the parties and parades, we even let him stay out late to watch the fireworks. We did a lot of fun things and spent a lot of time with the family. We are so blessed to live where we do and have the freedom that we do. We are so grateful for those who sacrifice so we can do what we choose to.

Then that weekend Sid and Michelle rented a blow up water slide had a BBQ and bought some awesome fireworks (that I didnt get to see becasue they scared Parx being that close). It was such a blast. Im so glad they were nice enough to do that and invite all of us.
