Wakeboarding

A couple of weeks ago we got invited to go boating and of course I wasnt going to pass up a chance to go sit and soak up the sun and Dave had been dying to go boarding so we headed out. Dave was a little nervous cause he hadnt been for a couple of years but a few minutes into you couldnt tell. He picked it right back up.

Pioneer Day

This year on the 24 we had Ashleys kids for the day which made for a very busy day we played outside in the water, decorated the lawn mover and participate in the parade, went to the carnival at Willow Park, played at the park, played in the barn and ended the day at the local Blue Sox game with a lion pup for dinner. Like I said a VERY busy day!!

Camping

Every summer Dave and I make a list of things we would like to do and every year camping falls on this list but we usually dont get to it. But this year we not only got to cross camping off but also hiking white pine.
On sat we headed up to Tony Grove set up camp and took off hiking. I really have wanted to do this hike for a while and thought it wouldnt be so bad, which it wasnt but after a 12 mile run it sucked! I was so tired when we got back and was so glad we had already set up our tent so we could just sit and relax. Later that night the family came up to stay the night with us. We had a great time roasting marshmallows, sitting around the camp fire, playing at the lake and just enjoying the awesome weather and pretty scenery.

Is this real life?!?!

The other day I heard on the radio: Call now to win tickets so what did I do? Called and what happened?? I won!! For real life. What did I win you ask (minor details) I won! LoNeStAr Concert tickets. I knew Dave had to work but I didnt think I would really win cause I call A LOT and never win but this time I did.
So I called up some of my girlie's and we loaded in the car for the long, boring drive to Wendover. On the way down we passed the salt flats and started wondering is this still salt, or is it sand? So we pulled over and Autumn found out. Answer: Salt!
After we got to Wendover we took some pictures with Will, went to dinner, stopped by the casino but didnt gamble, which we should have cause little did we know luck was with us. After we headed to the concert and were a little bumbed to find out we were the youngest there and no one seemed like they really wanted to be there, but after a few songs we decided not to let this get us down and started dancing and singing along which didnt take long to get us noticed and the band pulled us up on stage. For real. it gets better....
After the show we started leaving and the band manger came up to us and told us the band wanted us to stay and hang out we thought for real? Okay. We went to a back room for a min and then were taken to another place.. their tour bus. For real. For a min I thought maybe this isn't a good idea but it turned out fine when they found out we were married (minus Autumn) so we just visited with them. We talked about our families, music, and even religion. All in all they turned out to be really nice guys and the night turned out to be a huge success which could have come straight out of a movie! But it didnt it was real life!
