Don't blink

When we went to Parx first Dr appt as Dr Overy was leaving he told me "don't blink" meaning time will go by so fast that before you know he will be grown up and moved on. I am already starting to believe it.
I Can Not believe it was a month ago that we were in the hospital having our beautiful son. We were so naive and had no idea the adventure we were about to start. This last month has been the best we are having fun learning how to be parents and I'm sure we wont ever really figure it out but but were trying. In one month we have had the highest highs and the lowest lows. Dave has seen me cry more in this one month than our whole marriage (I'm hoping this returns to normal soon). I
Parx has been a good baby for us he is happy most of the time,
he only gets fussy at night for a few hours
he can pull his binky out faster than we can put it in
he will spend about an hour in his swing, we are working on the bouncer
he does great with tummy time and is getting really strong
he loves to rock with his mom and read books
he loves the little "bed" dad makes for him in the recliner
he loves to sit and watch tv with his buddy
hes a great eater and thinks he is starving if he has to go longer than 2 1/2 hours
Even though he might not know he is smiling at us we love seeing that sweet smile
he is such a sweet spirit and a wonderful little boy
he eats. he sleeps. he poops and it AMAZING
We are so blessed to be his parents and cant wait to see what the following months and years bring to us.
